The Dam Breaks Loose (Or…at least I’ve made a decision about SOMETHING!)

DecisionsYesterday I wrote about the plague of indecision that affects all of us at one time or another. Well…there’s one thing I have reached a decision on today…

I’ll be closing shop on in the next few weeks.

I’ve been trying to maintain two separate websites for the past couple of years, and not doing either very effectively. My heart, and a lot of my past, is in SpiritualDrift, and that’s where I’m going to be placing my blog post attention for the foreseeable future.

Any and all author-type-stuff will also be posted here.

Thanks to all of you, I’ve got a strong readership already built and you all have been very helpful in your dedication and feedback since starting this endeavor almost five (!) years ago.

So, though I’ll be hanging on to the name, will be closing shop some time in March. Thanks for all of you who visited me there and I look forward to interacting with you on SpiritualDrift from here on.

Oh, on a side note: I may be purchasing some form of exclusive name for SpiritualDrift in the near future, like a dot-net, or dot-org, or some take on the name Spiritual Drift (I screwed up and lost rights to the name so, lesson learned…if you own and like a particular domain name, even if you don’t think you’ll be using it anytime soon, KEEP IT!!)

I’ll let you know when all that shakes loose, but ‘til then, I’ll be on Spiritual Drift, on my Facebook author page, and around various coffee shops in Cd’A if you want to look me up.

Thanks and love to you all!

~ Kent

  1. I hear you. I used to run 2 blogs, but it just got overwhelming. I still have the old one and think about firing it back up every once in a while, but then I quickly realize how little time I already spend with FindingTruth. Better to keep all my ramblings in one place. 🙂

    1. Exactly. I was doing a lot of cutting and pasting anyway. Besides, I was hoping the author site would ramp up a mailing list for the book side of things, but I think you make up 50% of my mailing list after two years, ha ha! (P.S. I just got done replying to a comment on your site. Good article you posted.)

Talk to me, even if you disagree! I'd love to hear your comments!
